Tip - Boiling water tends to mute natural chemical-free vanilla flavours so turn off the kettle before the water boils, or allow it to cool slightly and you will have an authentic natural vanilla flavour that will get stronger as the tea cools.

Add 1-2 heaped teaspoons per 250ml, depending on how strong you like your tea. Add hot water, just before boiling and allow to steep in teapot, strainer or disposable teabag for 3-5 minutes.

Milk and sugar really make the flavours sing in this tea. We love to use Panela Sugar for its molasses / caramel notes.

For a stronger vanilla flavour don't let the water boil. Turn the kettle off just before and then allow the tea to cool slightly in your cup after steeping and adding milk. The cooler the tea gets the stronger the vanilla flavour will come through.
